Because of the priceless art treasures in the
Guy Hyde Chick House, and because wine
will be served, we ask that this be an event
for the adults in your family.

This 1914 Gothic-Craftsman mansion, designed by famed architect Bernard Maybeck, features magnificent rooms and and a charming garden, designed with Maybeck’s characteristic integration of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Our host, Foster Goldstrom, is a noted art collector, and you will also have the opportunity to enjoy some world-famous works of art you’d usually be able to see only in a museum or reproduced in a book.

We’ll serve some tasty Oakland tidbits and California wine, music that is a feast for the spirit, and provide the company of some interesting and distinguished Oaklanders.
